Oh, I Am Queer.

There's a Story Behind That.

Oi Am Queer (pronounced "Oh, I Am Queer") began as a play on words rooted in identity. OI stands for osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic bone condition that the project's founder lives with. The name brings together disability and queerness, two experiences that helped inspire this project. But Oi Am Queer is about more than one person's identity. It's about the people who live here, the communities we create, and the stories that deserve to be told.

Oi Am Queer began with one person's story. Its future belongs to the community.
